The AA configuration is simple and clean. Two “loop” or ‘U’ style end caps on each end of the system closes off the holes of the side rails, and leaves an open ended rack for cargo such as ladders, canoes, and surfboards.

Vantech's H2.1 Series Cargo Rack System for Compact Vans provide a more suitable rack if you are looking for a light but heavy-duty cargo rack. Vantech's design improvements have allowed them to increase usability and ease of install, while reducing the overall weight of the system by 20%. This was done by focusing more material in the most crucial weight-bearing points and joints of the system, while reducing the material in areas that hold no structural significance. Modularity has also been increased with the addition of more crossbar mounting holes atshorter intervals across the side rails - meaning you can better pick and choose where your crossbars will go, and how many you may need. Vantech has also widened the side-rail accessory slots to better accommodate third-party gear such as awnings and water tanks. Finally, the stronger design allows the whole system to be mounted lower and closer to the roof line, with our new low-profile mounting bases.

Vantech's 2.1 Series has been redesigned to hold up to 500 pounds for compact vans. Constructed of a heavy duty aluminum and coming in a black finish, the 2.1 Series Cargo rack system is the go to if you need to haul any big loads both commercial and recreational. The Ford Transit Connect, Nissan NV200, and the Ram Promaster City are available vans that the 2.1 Series Cargo rack system will fit.

The AB configuration maintains the simplicity of the AA system, but replaces the rear ‘A’ loops with the ‘B’ cargo roller. This roller allows for easy loading and unloading. It also protects your roof line and any high mounted brake lights or reflectors from accidental loading/unloading damage.

The ‘DD’ configuration maximizes aerodynamics in the front and rear. The angled front‘D’ faceplate acts as a wind foil, and reduces drag as well as wind noise when traveling. Therear mounted ‘D’ faceplate allows for air to smoothly pass over it, but can also be mounted up-side-down to create a wider mouthed basket.

The EB configuration is ideal for hauling larger and longer cargo. The ‘E’ front end acts as an extension to the overall system by adding an extra cross bar up front. This crossbar adds an extra 19.5 inches of space to the H2.1 system and allows for fog lights and other clamp-mounted accessories to be seamlessly integrated to the system. The ‘B’ roller on the rear allows for easy loading and unloading. It also protects your roof line and any high mounted brake lights or reflectors from accidental loading/unloading damage.

Vantech's Compact FD 2.1 Series Rack System

The FD configuration allows for the integration of fog lights without compromising cargo space. The ‘F’ front end extends the system by 19.5 inches, as well as adds a lower bar to mount accessories to. There is an 8 inch space between the bottom and top rail of the ‘F’ piece, which allows for a variety of fog lights and lightbars to be mounted. The rear ‘D’ faceplate is angled at40 degrees to reduce drag and wind noise by allowing air to more easily pass over and around it. Please note that the ‘D’ piece can also be installed upside down to create a basket style rear end for the system.
