Vantech's 2.1 Series for Ram Promaster vans provide a more suitable rack if you are looking for a light but heavy-duty cargo rack. Vantech's design improvements have allowed them to increase usability and ease of install, while reducing the overall weight of the system by 20%. This was done by focusing more material in the most crucial weight-bearing points and joints of the system, while reducing the material in areas that hold no structural significance. Modularity has also been increased with the addition of more crossbar mounting holes at shorter intervals across the side rails - meaning you can better pick and choose where your crossbars will go, and how many you may need.

The AA configuration is simple and clean. Two “loop” or ‘U’ style end caps on each end of the system closes off the holes of the side rails, and leaves an open ended rack for cargo such as ladders and other long and heavy objects.

The ‘DC’ configuration maximizes aerodynamics up front, while providing a vertical basketwall in the rear. The angled front ‘D’ faceplate acts as a wind foil, and reduces drag as well aswind noise when traveling. The vertical rear ‘C’ faceplate closes off your H2.1 and prevents cargo from sliding off the rear.

The ‘EC’ combination turns your H2.1 into an extended half-basket. The ‘E’ front adds an extra crossbar and extends the front of the H2.1 by 19.1 inches. The crossbar allows for fog-lights and other clamp-mounted accessories to be seamlessly integrated to the system. The ‘C’ rear faceplate closes off the rear and prevents cargo from falling or sliding out from the back of the system.
