The CURT Rambler steel tow bar is ergonomic, easy to use and highly tested for reliable flat towing. It uses a patent-pending latch design that allows the arms to be disconnected from the dinghy vehicle on various grades and angles. The latches are non-binding for a quick release without hassle, especially offroad. When hooking up your vehicle, the locks automatically engage, making the connection quick and hands-free. The Rambler heavy duty tow bar weighs less than 40 pounds, making it ergonomic a nd easy to handle compared to other steel towbar options. It also stores quickly and conveniently, featuring pivoting arms that can be moved to either side or apart. This helps avoid obstructions, such as a rear spare tire. The CURT Rambler is rigorously tested for absolute confidence in your towing setup. It has a solid steel construction and 7,500-pound rating. Rambler is perfect for towing a variety of automotive vehicles behind motorhomes, including cars, trucks, SUVs and Jeeps. This RV tow bar kit is compatible with standard 2-inch receiver hitches, and it can be coupled to CURT or Blue Ox base plate brackets (sold separately). For long-lasting weather resistance, the Rambler flat tow bar hitch has protective rubber sleeves and a durable textured black powder coat finish.

These receivers are perfect for attaching accessories such as cargo carriers, winch mounts, or snow plows, and they are custom-designed for specific vehicle models with industry-leading rust resistance.

CURT also makes flat towing more convenient when you're camping with your RV. To flat tow, you'll need a tow bar to connect your extra vehicle to the RV, and your RV should have a specific base plate that matches your vehicle and attaches to the tow bar. However, if you opt for a tow dolly, the base plate isn't necessary. To ensure safety during towing, your extra vehicle requires a special harness that synchronizes its lights with those of the RV. This setup ensures a smooth and secure towing experience for your camping adventures.

Each hitch features a 2” x 2” receiver tube opening alongside boasting a straight line pull capacity of 9,000 lbs, 5,000 lbs gross trailer weight capacity and a 500 lbs tongue weight capacity.  CURT manufactures their hitches with industry-leading rust resistance, ensure you have a durable hitch that lasts for years.
