Ranch Hand Legend BullNose Series Front Bumper Model BTF231BLR

The Legend Series Front Bumper Replacement is the toughest product on the market. It is frame mounted and is one piece fully welded construction. The main body of the bumper is manufactured from 4in. schedule 40 pipe and diamond plate steel, and the grille guard portion is composed of 12 gauge tubing providing wraparound headlight protection. The punched plate grille insert is specifically designed to match the make and model of the vehicle – no expanded metal used. The Legend Series Front Bumper comes standard with a 2in. receiver and most applications keep tow hooks and factory fog lights. This bumper is a valuable addition to any vehicle and will provide maximum peace of mind when driving down the highway.

Ranch Hand's Legend Series Front Bullnose & Rear Bumpers

Ranch Hand's Legend Series Front Bullnose and Rear Bumpers are a substantial replacement for your fragile factory bumper. The Front Bullnose Bumpers provide protection of a front bumper replacement without the wrap around grille guard, the body of the steel bumper paired with the bullnose pipe make for a solid center point of defense. The Rear Bumpers are designed to guarantee towing confidence and are available in different series which are engineered to meet differing needs and expectations.

Front Bumper:

  • The Legend bullnose front bumper features 2", 12-gauge tubing and is designed with off-road, rally styling and contoured skirts that protect the underside of the truck.
  • Features thick, 4" schedule-40 pipe that fully contours and protects the front end and thick diamond-plate steel that provides solid, reliable strength.
  • Features a standard 2" receiver for towing or mounting a winch or other accessories, and includes tabs for mounting lights and pre-drilled license plate holes.

Rear Bumper:

  • The Legend rear bumper is the original, heavy-duty, "ranch style" rear bumper, and is built to handle the day-to-day rigors of a hardworking truck
  • Features thick, 4" schedule-40 pipe that fully contours and protects the rear end and thick diamond-plate steel that provides solid, reliable strength
  • This rear bumper is V-5 tested up to 10,000 lbs. towing capacity (5,000 lbs. on select models) with an optional bolt-on receiver hitch

Ranch Hand Bull nose - 2023 F550

Elite Trucks did a good job marketing and delivering the bumper. I like the looks of the bumper on the truck, however I was a little disappointed that the Bull Nose was only welded to the top horizontal 10 gauge diamond plate steel and is for aesthetics only . If an obstacle is encountered like a deer at low speed it would simply fold the 10ga plate steel up and ruin the bumper. Also, the vertical 3/8ths plate steel outboard of the clevis plates have no flat steel welded to it for mounting rubber push cushions to. An oversight on my part when ordering. Otherwise the bumper had a great finish and fit, similar to other Ranch Hand products I have owned. kw
