• Hull of the box is constructed of .080 bright diamond treadplate aluminum
• Bottom of the box is constructed of .125 smooth aluminum and fully welded on all 4 sides.
• Lid is constructed of .080 bright diamond treadplate aluminum with an inner stiffener of .090 smooth aluminum
• Welds are full arc welds, no spot welds
• A full size, stainless steel paddle latch is recessed into the hull of the box
• Two keys are furnished per box
• Lid is equipped with a gas pressure shock for one-hand opening of the box
• Lid is attached to the hull of the box with two 4" aluminum butt hinges with 1/4" hinge pins
• Hinges are welded to the box and lid
• Offset in the rear of the lid allows flush mounting to the front of the pickup box
• Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in the lid to seal against the flange around the box opening
• Black boxes go through a five-stage state-of-the art metal pretreatment anti-corrosion protection system and is finished with a super durable black polyester powder coat
• Attaching hardware is included
