The Vantech H1 top mount aluminum system can hold up 250 lbs. per bar. The cross bars are 2″ X 1″ reinforced extruded aluminum with built-in channels. The Cross bars are protected by a non-slip rubber bar guard on top that is easily pressed into the channels. The aluminum mounting upright is approx. 1/8″ thick at the base. The mounting uprights are 8″ wide at the base and 16.75″ total height with a 7.25″ clearance. The Base is welded complete onto the upright post for complete seal. There are 4x 1″ eyehook per mounting upright. Drilling is required to install this system. 11 gauge steel 2″ X 8″ Heavy-duty interior plate helps evenly spread weight distribution. Rubber caps on the upright post prevent wind noise and water leakage. This system is powder coated white.

Every Vantech Knapheide Kuv Rack system comes with a variety of parts and accessories. The 2-Bar System comes with two cross bars, four mounts, two bar guards, and one of each of the following: hoop & loop strap, ladder stopper. ladder guide and hardware.

The 3-Bar System comes with three cross bars, six mounts, three bar guards, a single set of hardware and two of the following: hook & loop straps, ladder stoppers, and ladder guides.

Needs thicker gaskets

The overall product is great. A few things could be added or changed.
The rubber liner that locks into each rail could be longer to cover the whole horizontal rail.
(2) Longer carriage bolts could be offered. At least a 2in.
In my case on the KUV Bed, the rack was being bolted down through two layers on metal with a 1in void.
(3) A thicker gasket to fill between the rack and vehicle would be a plus! The one that comes with the kit is not good. A price of paper would seal up the same.

Overall the rack is great. No whistling noise, ladder straps in well and the racks them self are sturdy as can be.
